Greek Tragedy Play Project
This project was about the social issues in our country today. The social issue we chose was the death penalty and our view on this was that it should not be allowed. To show our view we ended up doing a graphic novel which included the different point of views on the topic.

Project Reflection
1) What are you most proud of about your project and why?
I am most proud of our final piece because it is different than what most people did. We incorporated clay figures in to our graphic novel making it look more realistic. We were first going to make a clay animation but after doing our first attempt which did not turn out so well. After that we decided to use the clay people and pose them for a graphic novel. By doing this the graphic novel did not look like cartoon but not quite realistic either.
2) What challenges did you struggle with working with a partner and how did it impact the project? What did you like about having a partner to work with? Details.
The challenges I struggled with while working with a partner was that I have this problem where I feel the need to everything myself to make sure it is done how I like it. So having a partner on the project was hard because I have trouble trusting other people to get the job done. My partner ended up doing a great job and I didn’t have a single problem when working with her. I like having a partner to work with because then the tasks can be split up and I don’t feel as overwhelmed with the whole project.
3) What could you have done as an individual to make the project better? Give specific details.
As an individual I could have photo shopped the pictures to a higher standard so the final pictures would end up looking a lot better. Each day the clay people had to be fixed because their heads and arms would start falling off and we would have to fix them before taking pictures. The more we had to fix them the worse they looked. In Photoshop I could have made the shirts look more uniform and look like actual shirts without the arms smeared on the shirts. I also could have done a better job at removing the time stamp on the photos.
4) What specific advice would you offer an incoming freshman about how to be successful at project-based learning? Be specific.
The advice I would offer an incoming freshman about how to be successful with project-based learning would be to manage their own time on a project. With project-learning everybody may be doing a project on the same thing, but they would not be working at the same pace nor doing the same thing as everybody else. Because of this the teacher cannot have a set schedule for what everybody has to do that day. You need to figure out what you need to get done and manage your time to that.
