My Goal is to Refine my Work more
In school I struggle with revising my work. I don’t take enough time during the project to go through my work and make sure it is how I want it to be. When I actually spend the time to revise and change parts of my projects the final results end up looking so much better. This shows in my poster I did for the book cover project in Digital Media. For this I had about 20 different versions of the same book cover. In some of the versions I had the skull behind the bars, and in others it was in front of the bars. I kept on putting the names in different places in different sizes and formats trying to find the best way for it to work. Doing this I feel like my poster ended up looking better than if I had gone with my first version. My plan to make sure that I do revise each project is that no matter what I am doing I will have at least two different versions at all times, each time a magor change happens to the work (add/delete a paragraph or change a sentence) I will save it as it's own copy, and the weekend before the project is do I will have my mom read it to make sure it is fluent and well written.
