Final Algebra II Exhibition
For the final exhibition I will be exhibiting my Exam Problems Project. For this project we had to create 10 different problems ranging from easy to ridiculous. Not only did we have to create the problems. we also had to solve our own problems to ensure that they actually work, and to practice the problems before the semester exam.
All the problems I will be exhibiting, are problems that I have learned about during semester 1 of Algebra II. This was my way of applying what I know in a new and creative way. Since we were only able to ask our math teacher for help in solving, I created and solved most of the problems by myself. I did have my teacher go over the problems to make sure I solved them correctly.
While doing this project, I learned that it is not easy to create problems that can be solved in an easy fashion. It took many different tries to actually get a problem that had a whole number or simple fraction answer. This was also a great review before the actually semester exam, because wee had to create problems from each of the 5 chapters, but we were not allowed copy problems from the book. We were able to use the book as a reference but that was it.

Exhibition Reflection
If I were to do this project differently, I would choose a different set of problems. When doing my exhibition, I noticed that I had 3 hard, 1 medium, and 1 easy question. I think this might have deterred people from coming to solve the problems. Ideally, I should have had 1 hard, 2 mediums, and 2 easy problems.
I believe that my ability to understand concepts easily is my greatest strength. This will help me when the concepts become harder. My greatest weakness is that I have a hard time trying explain what I do to solve the problems. This will hinder me, because it is harder for me to remember the methods for later use.

Semester Exam Project
I thought this project was a good way to actually study for the upcoming exam. We had to create our own problems and solve them ourselves. We were unable ask anyone but our teacher for help with that specific problem. By doing it this way we ended up learning how to solve many different types of problems by ourselves similar to what will be on the exam.
To study for the exam I will completely fill out the Exam review worksheet. If I am unsure how to do a problem properly I will look back into the notes I took on that specific topic or I will look in the textbook to figure out how to complete the problem properly.
This semester has gone pretty well for me. My strengths in Algebra 2 is understanding the concepts and learning how to apply it to new circumstances.
